Our Process

A deliberate process, not a sales funnel

Four steps. Each one intentional, thorough, and built on the principle that your financial plan deserves real work, not a template. Wealth management in Scottsdale, done deliberately.

Discover

30-Minute Introduction

Every relationship starts with a conversation, not a pitch. We schedule a 30-minute introductory call to learn about your financial situation, your goals, and your concerns. There is no cost and no obligation.

We want to understand what keeps you up at night, what you are trying to accomplish in the next five to ten years, and whether your current advisory arrangement is meeting your expectations. We also want you to evaluate us: our approach, our credentials, and our philosophy.

By the end of this call, both of us will know whether there is a fit. If there is, we move forward. If there is not, we are happy to point you in the right direction.

02

Plan

Comprehensive Financial Plan

Once you become a client, we begin building your comprehensive financial plan. This is not a generic template or a one-page summary. Every plan exceeds 50 pages and covers cash flow analysis, tax strategy, estate coordination, insurance review, investment allocation, Social Security optimization, and charitable giving.

We gather your financial documents, interview you in depth about your priorities, and coordinate with your CPA, estate attorney, and insurance agent. The result is a plan that reflects your complete financial life, not just the assets we manage.

The planning process typically takes four to six weeks. We present the completed plan in person or via video call, walking you through every recommendation and the reasoning behind it.

03

Implement

Strategy Execution

With the plan approved, we execute. Investment accounts are opened or transferred, portfolios are constructed according to your allocation targets, and we begin coordinating with your professional team.

For business owners, this may include succession planning timelines. For executives with equity compensation, it may involve a systematic diversification strategy. For retirees, it means establishing the distribution framework that will sustain your income. Every implementation is specific to your plan.

We handle the operational details: account transfers, beneficiary designations, titling changes, and the coordination calls with your CPA and attorney. You focus on your life; we focus on making the plan real.

04

Review

Annual Plan Update

Your financial plan is a living document. Every year, we conduct a comprehensive review: we update your plan with current data, reassess your goals, adjust your investment allocation if needed, and coordinate with your professional team on any changes.

Life happens. Tax laws change. Markets shift. Your children start college. You sell a business. You inherit assets. Each of these events requires adjustments, and your plan evolves accordingly.

Between annual reviews, we are available whenever you need us. Market volatility, a new job offer, a real estate decision: call us. Ongoing, responsive counsel is not an add-on; it is the core of the relationship.
